A fabulous and highly decorative French chateau armoire painted in a soft pale winter grey with off white creamy highlighted details.
Exquisite detail and fine craftsmanship with a wonderful carved floral rococo crest over door/pediment. The double doors retain their original deep bevelled mirrors which do have some marks/scratches and foxing commensurate with age and usage.
There is a key to the armoire door but it does not operate the lock.
There are some dings, chips, scuffs to the paintwork.
Interior has 2 shelves (more could easily be added or a hanging rail) with a concealed drawer at base.
This is a knock down armoire for ease of transport and re-assembling in situ. Feet have clearly been adapted to shorten height of armoire.
